I am fortunate because I know some folks who can freakin cook.
Take my friend, Carl, for example.
He’s been a Keto Slut for quite a while and he’s been teasing me with sexy pictures of his food for as long as I can remember. SPECIFICALLY this one damn dinner he makes, which is steak with cheesy spinach.
Guys, I’m not even that big of a spinach fan with the exception of when it’s used as a wilted delivery device for buttered garlic or when it’s randomly in something like my greek turkey burgers.
But this? Holy crap. When I see it, especially alongside a perfectly prepared ribeye, I want it inside me. Immediately.
Carl has been glorious enough to share his recipe. THANK YOU, BALD HEADED BABY JEBUS…and Carl.
CARL’S STEAK AND CHEESY EFFING SPINACH
For the steak:
“Salt and pepper steak, or season to your tastes with anything else. I cooked it with butter, garlic paste, and rosemary.
Baste steak with butter mixture until done to your liking.”
…oh hell, I’m drooling.
For the spinach:
“Melt two 6oz packages of goat cheese. I used a jalepeno goat cheese because I wanted the heat.
Add a splash of heavy cream to help it make a sauce.
Add spinach and wilt.
Salt and pepper to taste.”
“Voila…steak and cheesy spinach.”

“With the spinach you can add other vegetables, I have added mushrooms in the past, asparagus as well. I want to try adding bacon to it next time.
